Additional Support Resources

As you begin exploring if a campus change is right for you (or necessary to pursue your major), it is important to reflect on all considerations and taking action in a timely manner for a smooth transition. While you will be responsible to make your change of campus happen, it is important to know you are not alone in the process! There are a variety of support resources at all Penn State campuses to ensure your success.

Your Academic Adviser

Your relationship with your academic adviser is one of the most valuable in your college career. Your academic adviser is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to your entrance to major requirements. They also serve as a great resource to navigate the change-of-campus considerations and assist when you are eligible for a change-of-campus request.

To find out who your academic adviser is, click on the “My Advisers” tab in the top right corner of your LionPATH homepage or the “My Success Network” tab in Starfish.

Change-of-Campus Contacts

No matter which Penn State campus you are enrolled, there are dedicated individuals who can assist you in learning more about the change-of-campus process. View contact information for Commonwealth Campus and University Park support.

Your Change-of-Campus Coach

Ashley Cesare serves as the Assistant Director for Transition Programs at University Park. In her role, she supports students in looking to change their campus to University Park from a Commonwealth Campus. She is also a wonderful resource for Commonwealth Campus students looking to transition to another Commonwealth Campus. Although she is not an academic adviser, she is available to discuss what the change-of-campus process looks like and can help answer questions you may have (or connect you with the resource to further assist you).

Ashley’s role is housed within Student Orientation and Transition Programs. She can be reached at changeofcampus@psu.edu. To schedule a meeting with Ashley, please use her bookings link.
